Living Arrows

I am taking part in Donna from What the Redhead Said‘s Living Arrows – which is a celebration of childhood!

We could all do with a little more celebration in our lives!

To quote Donna, “The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.”

Week 5/52 Living Arrows

Always there for you, little one

Rightly or wrongly I let RLT co-sleep when he wakes on a morning. When he was a newborn, he held a finger while he was sleeping, which was incredibly cute. As a routine established and he was able to get himself to sleep, this didn’t happen so often.

I wasn’t feeling very well last week, so during afternoon naptime, we both went to lie down. He held my hand as he was falling asleep. This made me so happy! I’m very anxious about returning to work in the next few weeks, I won’t be there for him 4 out of 7 days during the week now and I don’t know to let him know that he will always come first. I’d like to think that he knew that I needed this!
