Living Arrows

I am taking part in Donna from What the Redhead Said‘s Living Arrows – which is a celebration of childhood!

We could all do with a little more celebration in our lives!

To quote Donna, “The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.”

Week 10/52 Living Arrows

Time with Dada

It has been a tough old week in our house (for me anyway), as I returned to full-time employment after 10 months off.It could have been made slightly easier – someone is trying to add to my workload (I haven’t had any kind of consultation on this and it is at an already hectic time of year for me, so I am very anxious about this) and my maternity cover just stopped coming to work a few weeks ago, so I have been chasing my tail as I have had no handover of work!

The big positive of this week is that, to ease me in, my partner took time off to look after #rlt. He started a new, very demanding, job in December (my partner, not the baby), so he hasn’t had much time to breathe, so it was fantastic for these guys to spend some quality time together. The way they both look at each other melts my heart, I was sent this picture while I was at work – mostly because they are dressed the same, but I think how they are looking at each other just sums up exactly how much they love each other. It is a very beautiful thing.
