Living Arrows

I am taking part in Donna from What the Redhead Said‘s Living Arrows – which is a celebration of childhood!

We could all do with a little more celebration in our lives!

To quote Donna, “The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.”

Week 15/52 Living Arrows

He’s Crawling!

Exciting end to a very stressful week, he started to crawl on Thursday night! I’ve been pretty stressed with my never ending workload at work – I knew it would be like this, which is why I never requested part-time. I’ve worked until midnight a few nights and got nowhere! I’m usually off on a Monday but had so much to update for a meeting that I had to change my day off, teamed with my OH being in London this week and five teeth something through at once (RLT’s not other half!) it’s been a long slog – so on Thursday evening, I was looking forward to focusing on four days of fun with my little man. We were sat playing in his room whilst I was organising his clothes and he started to crawl towards me! Hurrah! Daddy had just got home from a meeting in Sheffield to witness it too! I text my Mum to thank her for not telling me if he had, in fact, been doing this all day, but she promised he hadn’t! I was most afraid of missing this moment, so was thrilled he did it when I was there! Sorry, you’re getting a video this week as well as an image! Proud Mama moment!

This is his little face the morning after as he woke up and did it again…. so proud of himself!
