Living Arrows

I am taking part in Donna from What the Redhead Said‘s Living Arrows – which is a celebration of childhood!

We could all do with a little more celebration in our lives!

To quote Donna, “The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.”

Week 9/52 Living Arrows

New Smile and First Trip to Ikea!

This week RLT has been trying a new smile out! He usually opens his mouth to show his delight, but this week he has started doing a little grin! It melts my heart!

This picture was taken just after we left Ikea on Saturday morning – I think it sums up how pleased he was that he was out of there and that he was also so pleased to be with his Daddy. His face lights up every time his Daddy enters the room. I just happened to be walking behind them replying to a message when I saw his little face beam at me! I start back at work full-time this Wednesday, so I am definitely saving this picture to my desktop at work and staring at it every ten minutes!

Aw look at that cheeky little grin! Can’t beat a day out to Ikea! Good luck at heading back to work this week, I hope it goes well. It is such a horrible thought but you’ll be surprised how nice it can be being back to speaking with adults again!
