Living Arrows

I am taking part in Donna from What the Redhead Said‘s Living Arrows – which is a celebration of childhood!

We could all do with a little more celebration in our lives!

To quote Donna, “The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.”

Week 16/52 Living Arrows

First trip to the beach!

OK so it wasn’t exactly beach weather on Good Friday, but we took a trip up the coast to South Shields to see some friends. They have the most amazing view of the sea from their house, it would have been a shame not to give R his first experience of real sand, thankfully the North Sea winds were kind to us, which is rare in the North East.

Having tackled crawling last week, it was great to give him some space to explore and a different texture beneath him. He had a very long afternoon nap too, sea air is great for that!
