Living Arrows 43/52
I am taking part in Donna from What the Redhead Said‘s Living Arrows – which is a celebration of childhood!
We could all do with a little more celebration in our lives!
To quote Donna, “The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran,
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.”
Week 43
Taking time out to enjoy the little things in life
This week has been sad as my partner and I have both experienced bereavement at work. Makes you take stock of what you’ve got and realise that in the grand scheme of things our worries, really aren’t worries at all.
Little fella and I took the opportunity to play in the garden on Friday. It was a bit of an overcast day, but the storm seemed to miss us and I thought it may be one of the last opportunities of the year, so embraced it until little man decided he was ready to go inside.
My partner really has put alot of effort into the garden since we moved in 17 months ago and I probably don’t appreciate that enough.

Ooh that garden area looks lovely. Somewhere nice to sit in the summer #livingarrows

The garden looks gorgeous and RLT is clearly loving it. Sorry you’ve both had a crummy week, thankfully we’ve got our little ones to remind us of how lucky we are. #livingarrows

That garden looks absolutely beautiful – like a secret garden or something! x
