Living Arrows

I am taking part in Donna from What the Redhead Said‘s Living Arrows – which is a celebration of childhood!

We could all do with a little more celebration in our lives!

To quote Donna, “The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.”

Week 6/52 Living Arrows

A need for speed

RLT has been getting pretty confident in his walker over the past two weeks, but door frames in the house limit how far he can go without bashing into something. There was a hint of sun on Friday, so I took the opportunity to take him outside in his walker to have a bit of freedom. He loved it!

The neighbours who were at home during the day came out of their houses and said how lovely it was to hear RLT’s little laugh. Even the lady who delivers the parcels came over to see him – that sums up how friendly it is where we live! He had a great time and it was lovely to hear the belly laughs! Can’t wait until it warms up a little more so he can be outside longer!

Here is a video so that you can hear the laughing for yourself (please excuse the door, driveway and garden, we have yet to tackle them as we bought the house when I was extremely pregnant!)
