Living Arrows 4/52
I am taking part in Donna from What the Redhead Said‘s Living Arrows – which is a celebration of childhood!
We could all do with a little more celebration in our lives!
To quote Donna, “The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.”
Week 4/52 Living Arrows
Messy Play
I have been desperately searching for messy play in our local area – I found a one-off session on a Saturday so that daddy could attend too and join in the fun. RLT has been putting his hand in his porridge for weeks and loved the little highchair messy play session we had a few weeks ago – so I was eager to try him on something bigger and messier!
Needless to say, he loved it. However, it was in a school gym and it was freezing. His little jaw was shivering, so we had to cut the session short. THANKFULLY, an old school friend alerted me to a fortnightly session her friend is running, so we will investigate that further and report back next week!

Looks amazing! Hey have something in my local children’s centre but not been brave enough to do it yet! We go to soft play instead, the babies are usually covered! 🙈

I have always been a bit mess-phobic so we’ve never done anything like that. Great photo – it looks like he had a fantastic time! x

N’s only ever done messy play at an event with me. The rest he did at nursery – but he was never really that keen on it #livingarrows
