Living Arrows 3/52
I am taking part in Donna from What the Redhead Said‘s Living Arrows – which is a celebration of childhood!
We could all do with a little more celebration in our lives!
To quote Donna, “The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.”
Week 3/52 Living Arrows
This weekend we were visited by Jess and Pete, who are Mark’s university friends. They live in Carlisle, so we don’t get to see them often, which is a shame.
We decided to go for a walk around our local park, which is lovely and really well looked after by our local council. We often come here, but as it is usually just the three of us, we don’t often get the opportunity to get a photograph.
Luckily Jess thought about this and offered to get one of the three of us, without prompting. Her composition is marvellous as she is naturally creative and an art grad – so we couldn’t have picked someone better to take it!

Lovely photo! We have naff all pictures of us as a trio too. Unless you count the hideously close selfies… and no one wants to see those!

Gorgeous picture – I love it when someone manages to get a nice one of our family, though it doesn’t happen often as usually one of us is behind the camera! #livingarrows

I’m so glad you got to have a photo of all of you – you should join in with Me &Mine at the end of the month too 🙂 x
